Young Engineers Awards for Innovation and Sustainability
YEAIS Virtual Celebration
10–19 June 2025, online: 5 sessions available
Join us for a series of virtual events where you will get chance to hear from the winners, those highly commended and others who impressed the judges with their ideas and innovation.
Recognising new and emerging talent is hugely important. The IChemE Young Engineers Awards for Innovation and Sustainability (YEAIS) celebrates the ideas and innovation emerging in the chemical engineering profession, as well as those innovative ideas being shared by young people who could become our future chemical engineers, supporting IChemE’s vision of engineering a more sustainable world.
Finalists will be invited to showcase their work at one of a number of regional/virtual networking events including: an in-person event in London UK, an in-person event in Trinidad and Tobago, or one of three virtual events being hosted in Australia, Malaysia or the UK.
Entries for 2025 have now closed.
Following a successful pilot in 2024, the awards are open to:
- All members of IChemE aged 18 to 30, and
- UK only: schools students aged 16 to 18 as an extended pilot
