Andrew serves as CTO at Pyrogen. He oversees Pyrogen’s R&D, engineering design, standards and certifications, and IP rights. His expertise is in process safety and battery functional safety. Andrew holds a PhD and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from University of Malaya and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman respectively. He is a professional engineer and chartered scientist recognized by EU, UK, APAC and Malaysia. He has 15 patents, four trademarks and 45 ISI academic papers. He is also the award recipient for Green Talents 2019 and Sir Henry Royce 2025 medal. He is currently the technical committee for UL standard.
