Conference abstract submission guidelines

The Conference will include Flash Oral Communications and Poster Communications. Attendees interested in participating in these sessions are invited to submit an abstract.

Flash Oral Communications are intended exclusively for Early Career Researchers and Professionals. These consist of a short, five-minute presentation using a maximum of three slides, followed by additional time for questions. This format offers Early Career participants the opportunity to advertise their work orally. For the purposes of this conference, "Early Career" refers to individuals with less than 10 years of professional or research experience.

Poster Communications will provide an opportunity for open discussions during poster sessions. Posters must be prepared in A1 size (portrait orientation).

Please note: Due to program constraints, not all submitted abstracts will be selected for Flash Oral Communications.

Submission process

Authors must complete the submission form and submit their abstracts (max. 350 words). During submission, authors must select the main conference topic(s) relevant to their work from the following list:

  • Chemical Engineering Solutions
  • Wastewater Treatment Process Emissions
  • Potable Water Technologies
  • Challenges and Innovations in Water Treatment
  • Nature-Based Solutions
  • Digitalisation
  • Future Drinking Water Quality
