Role of the Technical Committee

Committee members play a key role in shaping the technical quality and relevance of the conference by:

• Identifying key topics in (and related to) process automation and control, and suggesting keynote speakers
• Reviewing and providing feedback on submitted abstracts and papers
• Contributing to, or soliciting contributions for the conference through their professional networks
• Raising awareness of sponsorship and exhibition opportunities
• Advising IChemE on the ongoing development of the conference
• Attending the conference where possible and chairing relevant technical sessions

Who should apply

We are seeking knowledgeable and committed volunteers with strong sector insight, awareness of current market realities, and a willingness to help shape a rigorous, forward-looking programme for industry, academia, and policymakers.

Appointments will be based on professional expertise, sector knowledge, and a clear commitment to contributing meaningfully to programme development.
