Michael is the Principal Consulting Process Engineer at MKPro Engineering Pty Ltd, Australia, and an Adjunct Associate Professor with the Federation university, Australia; He has been a volunteer IChemE C&C assessor since 2022, and more recently an ICP volunteer reviewer.

With over three decades of cumulative field experience, Michael is a Chartered and Registered Professional Engineer (RPEQ), an IChemE Fellow, a Fellow and Chartered Member of the Royal Chemical Institute of Australia, Senior Member of AIChE, and the current Chair of IChemE's Mining & Minerals Special Interest Group.
