Webinar: Young Engineers Awards for Innovation and Sustainability (YEAIS) Virtual Celebration
  • Date From 10th June 2025
  • Date To 19th June 2025
  • Price Free of charge
  • Location Online: 5 sessions available.

Overview

Recognising new and emerging talent is hugely important. The Young Engineers Awards for Innovation and Sustainability (YEAIS) celebrates the ideas and innovation emerging in the chemical engineering profession, supporting IChemE's vision of engineering a more sustainable world. Young members from across the globe were invited to submit entries and in 2025 we received over 100 submissions.

In this series of virtual events you will get chance to hear from the winners, those highly commended and others who impressed the judges with their ideas and innovation.

A showcase of the presenters will be available on IChemE Connect after the announcement of the winners in early June. You are welcome to join as many of the presentations as you wish and each session will feature five young engineers. There will be plenty of time for you to pose your questions and learn more about their projects.

Why Attend?

  • Discover fresh thinking: See how the next generation of engineers are tackling real-world sustainability challenges.
  • Get global insights: Learn about emerging trends and solutions from across the chemical engineering landscape.
  • Ask your questions: Interact with the presenters and dive deeper into their innovations.
  • Spark new ideas: Gain inspiration for your own projects, research, or mentoring activities.
