What

DiscoverChemEngLIVE is a free STEM event showcasing careers in chemical and process engineering, helping schools and colleges meet Gatsby Benchmarks by connecting young people with local employers and real world innovation. The interactive exhibition features leading companies, universities and hands on activities, with opportunities for students to speak directly to working engineers.

Who

School and college pupils aged 12 to 18-year-old (y8-y13)
Group size of up to 30 young people, plus teaching and/or support staff

Getting here/ parking

We encourage local schools to walk, use the train (we are located 5 mins walk from Rugby station). Limited minibus parking available on site, please pre-book a space with us. Larger coaches cannot access the car park but can drop off/ pick up on Pinders Lane.

First aid

First aiders will be available on site.

Risk assessments

A site risk assessment will be provided in advance. Individual risk assessments for activities will also be provided.
