Working within the wastewater effluent treatment & management industry, Adam works for Aqua Industria Ltd as a project/process engineer & consultant for Aqua Industria. Adam has been part of IChemE’s Hull & Humber Member’s Group for many years to develop & promote the institution’s goals in the region.
Joanne Bailey

Previous committee Technical Symposium Coordinator, Joanne graduated from Swansea University with an MEng in Chemical Engineering in 2016 and has worked within Centrica since then. She is currently working within Centrica Storage as a Process Safety Engineer.
S. Mohammad Ali
Mentor Coordinator
Mohammad retired as the Process Safety Management Leader after 36 years of continuous service at the Humber Refinery of Phillips 66. He is a fellow of the institution and a past chairman of the Hull Centre and the Yorkshire Branch.
Richard Hoyes
Technical Events Coordinator
Richard is a Chartered Chemical Engineer who retired from what was previously the BP Chemicals manufacturing site at Saltend, Hull after 34 years of service. He specialised in matters of process safety and fluid dynamics, including transient analysis. He is the longest serving member on the committee, having previously been involved in "Bucket Chemistry" to promote Chem Eng for schools and treasurer.

Previous committee Chairman, Philip is a Fellow of the IChemE, Director of Studies and Deputy Head of Chemical Engineering at the University of Hull.
Arslan Akram
Treasurer
Arslan's professional history includes roles within the Petroleum Refinery and at ICI. Presently, he is working with Cargill as a Process Engineer.
