Overview

This webinar is to provide an introduction to an end user / EPC perspective of the key management, design, operations and maintenance of cyber security requirements in the context of IACS and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) projects according to IEC 61511 and IEC 62443 requirements. It will outline automation system risk assessment to appreciate the processes to be applied in the workplace.

Speaker

David Allen, Senior CE&I Engineer TUV

David Allen is a Chartered Engineer with a Masters in Computer Science and Cyber Security. Having over 15 years industry experience. David started his career in Industrial Automation at the age of 16, David has worked on all aspects of a project lifecycle ranging from consulting, design, production, installation, testing, commissioning, and additional after-care services. David has worked in many sectors around the world including Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Energy and Offshore assets.

David is a TÜV Rheinland Certified Cyber Security Specialist who is a Member of The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and a Member of the International Society of Automation (ISA). In his current role of OT Cyber Security Team Leader within TÜV Rheinland Industrial Services, David provides cyber security consultancy and training solutions based on IEC 62443 standards and HSE OG-0086 guidance for a wide variety of customers.
