Overview

The webinar is a prelude to the Tullich WTW site visit event scheduled for 18 May 2023. However, even if you are unable to make the physical tour of the site, the webinar content is standalone.

The webinar will cover the following aspects:

• Project overview and drivers
• Description of installed processes
• A brief summary of each process – description of process and function
• Detail on the key project features – DfMA, implementation of digital technology and interface with existing assets
• A snapshot of the more advanced digital tools which MWHT are implementing on projects

Speakers

Kirsty McCall, Regional Process Discipline Lead, MWH Treatment

Kirsty is a Chartered Engineer and a Chartered Scientist with 15 years of process design experience within the UK water industry. Kirsty currently works for the MWH Treatment as the Regional Process Discipline Lead within Scotland, and works with her team to deliver water and wastewater treatment solutions for Scottish Water’s non-infrastructure programme of work.

Andrew Moore, Principal Process Engineer, MWH Treatment

Andrew is a principal process engineer with 33 years experience in the industry. Key projects have included both Water and Wastewater across the UK, clients including Scottish Water, United Utilities, Southern Water, Severn Trent. Undertaken detailed design on numerous design and build projects from £0.5 Million to £50 Million. Currently managing process engineering teams across frameworks that MWH Treatment are involved in.

Andrew Bruce, Senior Process Engineer, MWH Treatment

Andrew is a Chartered Engineer working with MWH Treatment. Having joined as a Graduate Engineer in 2015 he is now in a Senior Engineer role working in the Scotland region and is involved in delivering process designs for projects across Scottish Water’s non-infrastructure programme. Andrew has experience in both water and wastewater process design, as well as having experience in a process commissioning role for the Tullich WTW project.

Mark Murgatroyd, Regional Civil Discipline Lead, MWH Treatment

Mark is the Regional Civil Discipline Lead for MWH Treatment, and started working for Biwater over 20 years ago in the wastewater team working on flow and asset surveys. After 2 years Mark joined the civil design team and worked on the different Projects throughout the different regions.
