Reduced rate eligibility
A member may apply for a reduced rate for a membership year if they are not working or experiencing financial hardship due to:
- parental leave including maternity, paternity and adoption leave or other international variation thereof
- career break
- retirement
- low income earning less than minimum wage or other international variation thereof
- unemployment
- long-term sickness
- unforeseen/unavoidable hardship
- have re-entered full-time education to obtain a postgraduate degree or equivalent. Courses that qualify are:
- research degrees (PhD, EngDoc, MPhil) in a subject related to chemical engineering
- taught postgraduate degree courses (MSc or MRes) in a subject related to chemical engineering

How to apply for a reduced rate
You can apply for a reduced rate by submitting the reduced rate request form. Once we have received and processed your request we will email you regarding your subscription.
